Everything was born during a conversation about one of the weddings organized by Latifa Koot from Koot & Wedding in Cassis en Provence. Aurore decorator Zeste d’Amour and Latifa were discussing the decoration of one of these weddings and Latifa began to let Aurore know her desire to make a photo shoot in Cassis at the Luxurious Domaine de Canaille.

And that was obvious because Aurore had this wish for a few years already. We had the same line of action regarding the need for flamboyant colors to bring out our beautiful Mediterranean and this imposing home. We also wanted a 1920/1930 year style that was in keeping with the place and contemporary.

What was important for them too was to make this shoot with passionate artisans!

And the adventure began, in 3 days everything was closed.

Aurore de Zeste d’Amour and Latifa Koot & Wedding worked together to design the style of the decor in harmony with the luxury of the Domaine de Canaille property. We focused our work on fresh, bold and vibrant colors to bring out the blue color of the sea in the background. It starts with a big crush on the color of the peony coral sunset, everything is said in the name of this beautiful and ephemeral flower! They also wanted something different: a modern style with a touch of retro for this shoot of inspiration for weddings in Provence.

For the bouquet, Aurore used garden roses, coral peonies at sunset and foliage, tied with silk ribbons floating in the air with the sea breeze.
To underline the refinement of the decor, they brought a touch of gold to the cutlery and used the blue porcelain plates of the room on the table. This blue was a total obsession for Aurore!

The stationery was created by Zeste d’Amour; it was inspired by the shape of the peony flower and its color to create the design of the suite of invitations.
The bride @ mamere_veille wears a bespoke Quiqui Lamothe dress – beautiful and perfect in every detail, inspired by a retro style with a trendy twist for the modern bride with a mix of short skirt and long tulle.
The bride’s hair is beautifully drawn by the talented local hairdresser, Yaëlle Prestige Coiffure. She drew a retro swept bun.
The makeup done by Clemence Terzian Makeup is quite pronounced at the look while the mouth remains natural and nude.
We also insisted that the bride be adorned with diamond jewelry to emphasize the refinement that reigns in this venue, in the dress, the hairstyle, the decoration etc…
The groom Pierre Prati was dressed by Espace Homme Ceremony with a very light blue suit and a Panama from Maison Miraflores Chapeliers. This outfit that can be emphasized atypical is in perfect harmony with the bride and this landscape has taken the breath away.
The Wedding Cake was concocted by the talented Tata Paulette real artist in her field.
Maison Options generously participated in this shoot with the tablecloth, towels and set up.
At the photo we have chosen a photographer who is already working alongside Latifa Koot of Koot & Wedding, who is also well known for these natural landscape shots that are always buzzing.
In the video, we wanted a film that does not denature the natural color of the site and its surroundings and Frank Art Studio was the perfect man to sublimate the whole.

We would like to start again this beautiful adventure, so see you soon!
