Marriage in New York
It was my first trip to New York and it was a magical experience…
I can tell you that as a Wedding Planner from Provence, it was a radical change. The United States I already knew but there it was not the same. Travel knows me, I don’t stop.
Alright, back to my subject.
I was there as a collaborator of Amandine Taravellier from the Opaline agency for the first 3-day workshop that she organized with her partner Florence Devallière Croizer. Getting out of my comfort zone, expanding my network, exchanging with professionals from the New York wedding industry and many other things, has brought me a lot and especially to evolve as a Wedding Planner.
The purpose of this semi-professional trip and semi-vacation with the family was that I accompany Amandine during the Workshop and that I immerse myself in this city and that I meet the New York service providers. It was just extra! Also present were wedding professionals from the south of France, wedding planners, photographers, videographers, decorators.
The little plus? Accompany a couple of very charming bride and groom in the administrative offices. The place where all couples must imperatively pass in order to obtain an authorization to get married in NYC.
But also attend a shoot!
This photo was taken by the talented Christophe Serrano.
The menus and guest gift boxes were created by Aurore Begey Bertrant of Aurore Zeste d’Amour.
The floral decoration was created by Corinne L Floral Designer, Les Fleurs de Ninon, LK Deco and Fleursdumois Floral Design.
It really is a magical, intoxicating city with a very, very, very special energy.
New York New York…
